Polymer Emulsions
Polymer emulsions are valuable raw materials which play an important role in everyday products from household goods to many industrial uses. Being aqueous-based formulations, they provide all the essential ingredients required for microorganisms to grow easily in the water phase. Therefore, besides good plant hygiene and raw material quality control it is important, that the emulsions are adequately preserved. The Preventol® D and Preventol® P range of in-can preservatives offer a wide variety of different biocides, which meet the requirements for preservation of all the existing emulsion types, which due to pH, available nutrients and chemistry of the emulsions may differ significantly.
