Corrosion Control
The Preventol® CI brands are corrosion inhibitors. They primarily protect copper, copper alloys and silver by forming an extremely thin, stable protective film on the metal surface. Other metals, such as aluminium and steel, are protected from copper-initiated localized corrosion by passivating copper ions.
Antifreeze, engine coolants, brake fluids, cooling water, dishwasher detergents, metalworking fluids and protective coatings are just a few of the many applications for the Preventol® CI brands.
